Electrology Methods
Electrolysis
The original method
This is the most permanent method and causes the least adverse effects to the skin. Using chemical energy to disable follicles this method requires more time in each follicle to generate the chemical reaction.
Thermolysis
Heat Energy method
With moderate permanence and quick processing this method disables follicles using heat energy. The speed and power of this method means rapid progress. It can also lead to minor skin damage especially for deep coarse hair such as the face.
Blend
All purpose method
The blend combines electrolysis and thermolysis to get the benefit of both methods. Using chemical and thermal energy it has high permanence and moderate speed. This method has low adverse effects and can safely work on deeply rooted coarse hairs such as found on the face.
Flash Thermolysis
High heat high speed
This method uses very high heat energy with a computer controlled burst of energy to disable follicles. Because of the high energy an insulated probe must be used. This shields the skin from damage and limits the effective area of effect. I do not perform this method as it has low permanence and high risk of collagen damage.
